Ideas Alchemy is for teams who need to think something through together rather than be told what to do. Each session is planned with you and facilitated on the day, whether it is a team day, a strategy session or a conference workshop, and it is always playful, creative and purposeful. LEGO Serious Play is often part of it, because building a model helps people say things that are hard to put into words. Other methods have their place too: Playmobil pro uses figures to map out people and situations, while Belbin Team Roles and Insights Discovery help a team understand how its members differ and what each brings. Everything is done with your group, not done to it. To talk about what you need, email.

Creative facilitated sessions for teams

Learn to use LEGO Serious Play yourselves

The Accelerator is a session of about two hours in which your team learns LEGO Serious Play by doing it, working on questions from your own setting. By the end people are able to use it in their normal work, in the meetings, one-to-one conversations and planning they already do, without needing a facilitator in the room. Everyone leaves with their own bricks and with openly licensed handouts to keep, change and pass on. There is no certificate, because nobody needs one to start. To arrange one, get in touch at info@ideasalchemy.net.

The Accelerator is part of Remix, a facilitation practice and a publication shared between Ideas Alchemy and &Koh. Remix rests on one idea: a useful method should be open to anyone who wants to use it, with no needless barriers, no inflated claims and no need to ask permission. It centres on LEGO Serious Play, which has been open source since 2010. At lspremix.substack.com you will find session outlines and materials to use and adapt in your own setting, along with writing about the method.
